Here are some tips to help get you started and your images downloaded:

Follow our Technical Requirements to make sure your material won’t be rejected automatically.
1

See What Works

Our clients download these materials the most.
2

Choose Your Best Images

It’s better to have 1 image with specific and relevant keywords than many similar images.
3

Uploading & Releasing

We recommend using FTP to upload.
Host: ftp://ftp.skyfish.com
Upon uploading, your materials are automatically released into the Colourbox database.
4

Add Keywords and a Title

Add at least 4 keywords and a title to each of your images to increase your download chances.
5

Do You Have Editorial or Adult Content?

Anything with brand logos, well-known brand products, or people without Model Releases must be marked as Editorial. Anything with adult content (i.e. full nudity) must be marked as Adult.
6

What NOT to Do

Do not add irrelevant keywords, have too many similar images, or forget to mark Editorial or Adult if needed. If your material is deleted by our Quality Control team, you can see the reason why in your image summary. If you continue to make mistakes after being warned, Colourbox may terminate you as a supplier.
